Hello, I hope you are all well.

Next week I begin teaching our robotics lessons. We will be building a boat launching robot in the first lesson. I am very excited about this!

These lessons will be based on the (brilliant) Lego Spike Essential curriculum.

Lego Spike Essential combines classic Lego, with block coding (via a hub that connects to an iPad via blue tooth). The ScratchJr (block coding) skills we have learnt will allow us to confidently access this coding.

If you are not familiar with what Lego Spike Essential, here is an unboxing video, which also covers setting up the kit including the hub, the motors, tue light and the colour sensors.

I will be posting all the future lessons on here and I have also created a dedicated Lego Spike Essential page to collate all these videos.
