I am excited to share with you my new video tutorial series on teaching primary aged children to code using ScratchJr (which is free) on a phone or tablet.
Whether you’re a parent or carer looking to get your kids into coding, or a teacher wanting learn ScratchJr to bring programming into your classroom, ScratchJr is a fantastic place to start.
This video series contains over 25 videos, each focusing on a different activities to learn how to use the functions of ScratchJr based on these brilliant Code Cards.
The best way to use these tutorials is either watch them on your own or with the children in your care, pausing as you work through the short videoes. Once you and the children have completed the activity, then i encourage you to use your new skills to build your own project.
